888xk was built out of a straightforward observation: Pakistani users interested in online sports betting and casino gaming had very few places to find clear, honest, English-language information tailored to their context. Most platforms available were either translated awkwardly into Urdu, written for audiences in Europe or Southeast Asia, or simply full of vague promises and misleading claims.
We set out to change that. 888xk launched as an English-language information and entertainment platform aimed directly at Pakistani users — people in Karachi who follow Pakistan cricket through every ICC tournament, PSL fans in Lahore tracking Lahore Qalandars odds, football enthusiasts in Islamabad keeping up with live match results, and UFC viewers in Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan and Peshawar who want to understand how betting markets work before they commit a single rupee.
From the beginning, the principle was simple: be transparent. Don't invent regulatory approvals that don't exist. Don't claim that familiar Pakistani payment channels like Easypaisa, JazzCash or Raast endorse gambling — they are context references, not partners. Don't pretend that the legal situation around online gambling in Pakistan is settled — it isn't, and users deserve to know that. The Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977 is a real piece of legislation that Pakistani users must understand before engaging with any online gambling platform.
888xk does not hold a Pakistan gambling licence. We do not claim that online betting is legal under Pakistani law. What we do provide is a well-designed, mobile-responsive, clearly written English-language resource that helps Pakistani users navigate the online betting and casino space with better information in hand.
